We have a variety of bright, modern, newly furnished bedrooms with single, twin, double, king and family rooms available, allowing us to accommodate any party of guests.

All of our rooms are en suite and have either a shower or both a shower and sizeable bath, adding that extra bit of luxury to your stay.

Each room has a 24 inch television, hairdryer and fresh, clean, towels. Tea &coffee making facilities are available around the clock and ironing facilities are available on request.
We offer guests a versatile breakfast menu including a cooked Irish Breakfast, an assortment of cereals and yogurts and a selection of juices, teas and coffee to satisfy every palate.

Mary and Gerard have long been the proprietors of the Southern Bar, situated alongside the B& B, ideal for those hoping to watch a game, enjoy live music or have a few drinks in the company of hospitable staff and friendly locals. For evening meals, the Southern Bar delivers top class cuisine with delicious starters, mains and desserts served every Thursday to Sunday from 5pm.

Dunmanway

Galvins on the Green is situated in the centre of Dunmanway, a small town full of character and charm with a diverse choice of things to see and do. Our local recreational grounds boast a 25metre public swimming pool, an18hole pitch and putt course, childrens’ playground, tennis courts, an astro turf soccer pitch and an outdoor gym, all within walking distance of our bed and breakfast.

Activities in the area include various nature walks, fishing, kayaking, horse riding and clay pigeon shooting.  For hill walkers, cyclists and mountain biking enthusiasts, our surrounding woods and hills provide thrilling terrain for even the most intrepid adventurers.

Dunmanway Lake lies on the edge of the town and is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Visitors are encouraged to bring along canoes and fishing gear to make full use of the water or relax in the floral garden and picnic area and feed the ducks at the lakeside.

Dunmanway’s local history is proudly celebrated by the entire community. National hero Sam Maguire was born in Dunmanway and G.A.A fans visit the area year round to learn about and pay homage to the sporting legend. Ballabuidhe, one of Ireland’s oldest horse fairs, continues to draw crowds from across the country. A bustling hive of social activity, Dunmanway’s cafés, pubs, restaurants and old fashioned market stalls are alive with great food, music, and entertainment, bringing visitors back year after year.

West Cork
